Port Dickson has been known for a long time for being a popular holiday destination and camping site in Peninsular Malaysia. When hearing a mention of Port Dickson, one will almost immediately start to imagine fine sandy beaches fringed by leafy Casuarinas. Taking in the beautiful, natural environment in a warm blowing wind and hearing the sound of ocean waves thumping in the blue open sea can make just about anyone fall in love with this place. This 18 km stretch of beaches will surely be an excellent holiday destination for many.
The breathtaking, unique beaches of Port Dickson adorn the calm sea of the Straits of Malacca along the coastlines of Negeri Sembilan. Port Dickson is situated 30km away from Seremban, about 60km from KLIA and 55km from Putrajaya, where the new national administration complex is located and Cyberjaya, where the national Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) is situated. It is about 70km away from the Kuala Lumpur city centre. One may reach Port Dickson through a few entry points. The best route to be taken for those travelling from the North Peninsular or South Peninsular is by using the North-South highway (PLUS). Exit at the Port Dickson interchange between Seremban and Senawang interchanges and travel along federal roads lined with lush greeneries that will take you all the way to Port Dickson.
